My Ethics Statement

Ethics are very important to me both personally and professionally. Throughout my life I have chosen to sustain certain core values including effective communication, time management, responsibility, integrity, honesty, and consistency.  In addition, I have a strong work ethic and consider myself to be organized, hardworking, and consistently strive to maintain a positive attitude and strategic outlook in my work and personal life. I feel that these core values make me the dedicated wife, mother, employee, and student that I consistently strive to be. 

In my workplace, I oversee ethics and compliance web based training.  It is my personal belief in the importance of business ethics that helps me to continuously improve and promote this program and make it a value for my company and our employees. As communicated in our ethics and compliance training courses, I will abide by all company policies and procedures. These are written to protect the company and its employees. As an employee within Human Resources, I believe these policies are a reflection of the Corporate values and expectations for employee conduct and help me to work and live both ethically and legally.  

I have an ethical responsibility to protect and secure the personal data of the learners at my workplace and honoring confidentiality. This is a responsibility that I take very seriously. In understanding what is considered good and right, and knowing that at times I am faced with a choice between two actions, I rely on my company code of conduct and various policies to help me decide how to proceed.

My Company's values include integrity, diversity, fairness, and respect.  These are values that I strive to maintain by respecting my coworkers, avoiding conflicts of interest, avoiding using inside information, and using business assets for business purposes.
